Leads, directs and administers all aspects of the supply chain and related financial systems and processes for Jefferson enterprise. Supporting process owners, assures the optimization of the procurement, inventory control, contract management, strategic sourcing, accounts payable, asset management and treasury systems and related processes. Provides oversight and quality assurance of the integrity of supply chain and related financial files, such as vendor and item masters, assuring master files are current and accurate, in support of the data inputs to the electronic health record(s), and other dependent systems. Provides support for continuous improvement for processes related to the system and functions above. Oversees supply chain data analytics.
Provides direction to, and management of, project managers, data integrity team, and customer service center, and data analyst(s).
Develops the enterprise supply chain strategic plan for supporting information systems, process improvement, and data analytics.
Oversees and assures integrity of electronic marketplace and e-commerce platform for transmission of purchase orders, vendor acknowledgement, advanced ship notices and electronic invoice transaction sets.
Serves as business owners’ liaison to Information Systems and Technology on system-related process improvements, projects and upgrades.
Provides oversight of supply chain and financial components of enterprise resource planning system (ERP)
Develops standard practices, systems, technologies and processes across the enterprise to assure efficiency, effectiveness and consistency of service.
Working with clients, develops supply chain data analytics system and program.
Supports regional (divisional) supply chain logistics and sourcing to assure that systems and processes are operational and effective.
Stays current with the state of technologies that would provide improved effectiveness and efficiency in all supply chain functions. Analyzes feasibility of technologies, develops return-on-investment analysis, assists SVP in budgeting and securing funding, and leads implementation.
Prepares annual operating and capital budgets for areas of responsibility and monitors budget performance.
Works closely and coordinates relevant activities with supply chain department functional leads, including Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Logistics and Value Analysis.
Exhibits leadership skills and acts as a change agent to support the mission, vision, and values of Jefferson.
Bachelor’s Degree in management, operations or information systems. Master’s Degree is preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION:
C.P.M. from the Institute for Supply Management, Inc. or a CMRP certification from the Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management of the American Hospital Association is preferred.
Six years management and minimum of ten years’ experience in Supply Chain Management. In-depth functional knowledge of supply chain and related financial system components of ERP systems and processes, preferably in a healthcare setting. Can operate within a large, complex organizational structure.
