The Supply Chain Manager will assume responsibility for Purchasing and Shipping & Receiving departments. The manager will be charged with increasing efficiency and reducing costs. This position will be highly analytical and will have a strong business acumen directed towards a commitment to customer service, optimization, and efficiency.
Education and/or experience: B.S. degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or similar field required. Three to five years of progressive supervisory experience preferably in a healthcare environment.
Knowledge: Requires thorough knowledge of Supply Chain functions, Purchasing, Shipping & Receiving, and knowledge of standard business software programs.
Skills: Must possess interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clinicians, technicians, sales representatives, and all other healthcare providers. Strong analytical and organizational skills required.
Abilities: Must be able to successfully problem solve and perform during stressful situations with respect to extreme demands on time and resources.
