We're looking for someone who has a strong background in management of both personnel and inventory to oversee our Distribution Services divisions of Central Supply. Our internal distribution supply center handles an average inventory worth $160,000 with an estimated throughput of $6.6 million along with a 1,000 item inventory turning 30+ times annually. This role is responsible for implementing, monitoring and gauging the effectiveness of unit processes and ensures standards are held to an above acceptable level for optimal product availability, delivery and cost.
Five years of previous management experience is required.
Five or more years of experience with inventory control, materials distribution, or an associated field is required.
Previous experience within the healthcare industry and with medical products and equipment is highly preferred.
Previous supervisory experience in a health care setting is highly preferred.
Previous experience with materials management software is required; experience with Lawson Procurement Suite or other perpetual inventory applications is preferred.
