Western Connecticut Health Network is seeking a Clinical Quality Value Analysis Clinician for its Supply Chain. The Clinical Quality Value Analysis Clinician facilitates clinical and non-clinical product and service review, evaluation and utilization in conjunction with WCHN Supply Chain, CQVA teams and clinicians in order to optimize safety, value and efficiency in the network.
Interacts with clinical and non-clinical staff to evaluate opportunities, develop plans, recommendations and actions to affect change in improving efficiency, utilization and cost reduction. Participates through clinical interaction with Northeast Purchasing Coalition, CQVA teams and other colleagues to promote values of CQVA.
Coordinates trials and evaluations with vendors and analyzes proposed changes.
Assists management team in understanding clinical implications, ease of conversion, product evaluation process, and implementation process.
Effectively coordinates product conversions in conjunction with Purchasing, Inventory, distribution and clinical areas.
Collaborates with the Clinical Quality Value Analysis Manager in facilitating CQVA team meetings.
Supports VAMS database requirements for CQVA initiatives.
This position requires a minimum formal education of Bachelor Degree and minimum of three years job-related experience.
CT RN license or Certified Surgical Tech
3 years of clinical experience, perioperative preferred. CT RN License or Certified Surgical Tech.
