The Director is responsible for the planning, development, and efficient operations of WVU Medicine materials management operations within supply chain services across the WVU Health System (WVUHS).
The Director is responsible for the management of the materials management operations and will exercise leadership responsibility to ensuring efficient, value-driven services that are designed to meet the needs of patients, physicians, trainees, the public and staff directly, or through delegation of responsibility to staff. The Director will have leadership oversite of the facility materials management leads. The Director is responsible for all strategic and operational planning, day-to-day operations, internal/external relationship management, fiscal and personnel matters for the materials management operations function.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business administration, accounting, finance or other related area.
- Five to seven years of supervisory or management experience.
- Five to seven years of experience in field of operations.
