Oversees and manages the daily operations for Bozeman Health Supply Chain. Manages and monitors vendor's qualification and performance to ensure they meet Bozeman Health requirements. Supervises the operations of eleven supply rooms, central mail, central receiving, and works with numerous departments within Bozeman Health. The primary objective is to manage, control the flow of supplies, and equipment from acquisition to disposition. Areas of emphasis include supply, capital budgets, inventory control, and adherence to organizational GPO contracts for supplies/equipment. Responsible for the attendance and participation in designated hospital committees. Assures that department operations adhere to guidelines per the state, accreditation agencies and all other agencies. Supervises 21 employees on a daily bases.

Develops, implements and provides for maintenance of the reporting systems that relate to material functions.

Actively participates with finance on other projects that relate to inventory control, cost savings, supply chain management and outside consultants.
Works with outside agencies and/or consultants on supplying them with data, reports and other related material to facilitate their implantation and the goals of the hospital.
Manage the Bozeman Health supply chain, placement of supply orders, inventory levels and distribution of supplies.

Maintain in depth knowledge of GPO purchasing program and solid knowledge of other GPO product category programs.
Ensure optimal participation in GPO agreements to maximize price savings, rebates, group redistribution and commitments.

Monitors assigned functional operations to identify improvement opportunities, and develops process improvements to improve efficiency and/or productivity.
Communicates with Accounts Payable and other departments to resolve issues relating to receipt of materials and payments to vendors.

Responsible for hiring and filling job vacancies in a timely manner.
Assists with all new hires on training, policies/procedure questions and provides feedback and/or counseling as needed.
Train and Mentor all SCM employees.
Communicates department/ organizational goals and overall philosophy of Bozeman Health.
Prepare weekly reports to the CFO and COO.
Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Business Administration or Logistics
Master's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field
LICENSURE and CERTIFICATION
Must possess a valid Montana driver's license
4-6 years of leadership experience in business management, supply chain and/or healthcare including: budgeting, bidding, vendor negotiations, contracts and group purchasing knowledge
4-6 years of experience with Infor Lawson V10 or V11 software
