Reporting to the Manager of Integrated Service Solutions within Supply Chain Management (SCM), the Data Analyst acts as the lead SCM ERP resource while maintaining the MMIS for SCM and Procurement Utilization. Ensures the efficient, effective and accurate utilization of the Supply Chain system. Assures the system process of Supply Chain operations. Oversees master data files/procedures to ensure required information is accurately maintained. Manages/Monitors ERP/MMIS and SCM e-Commerce tools and related interfaces.
Will provide responsive information, in the form of reports and statistical presentations to the SCM Team, Dept. Directors and Admin Team using product and usage data, to support all business and functional areas. Partner with Financial reporting and SCM to maintain integrity of electronic transactions and operations. Provides financial and savings initiatives by generating custom reports and data to support SCM operations as well as special projects for savings.
Collects and Presents data/benchmark pricing to show value savings opportunities to the clinical team. Maintain/Track supply requests and contract dashboards to forecast and capture trends. Conduct periodic reviews of supply contracts relating to the terms and supply utilization. Evaluate new, emerging technologies with vendors, the clinical team and SCM.
Partners with Information Services on technical support services required to facilitate acceptable system uptime performance. Develops audit procedures, including objective testing criteria to insure compliance with published project goals.
Will manage value analysis team workflow process for new item set-up and act as backup facilitator to value analysis team. Performs rebate management and helps in coordinating prompt pay discounts between Accounts Payable and participating vendors.
Nursing or other Clinical experience preferred. CMRP certification and Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Three years clinical and/or managerial experience and previous supply chain management experience required.
Must be experienced in working with ERP/EMR systems. Previous experience with hospital ERP/EMR conversion is a plus.
Must be familiar with fully integrated supply chain management software.
Demonstration of clinical and supervisory proficiency is required.
