The Vice President of Contracting and Clinical Quality Value Analysis(CQVA) is responsible for WellStar Health System product and services sourcing and contracting, including CQVA, Purchasing and Contracting functions th entire system. This individual will master industry leading best practices and apply them to the benefit of Wellstar Health System. These best practices will center around sourcing and contracting of medical supplies and services, supplier relationship management,category managewment, purchasing and value analysis.
The Vice President identifies opportunities to create key strategic vendor partnerships for the organization to drive quality outcomes and value for the system.The Vice President works collaboratively with Service Line leaders and Administrative Vice Presidents to develop supply chain strategies for each service line. Contracting strategies will be designed to obtain competitive pricing commensurate with the system's size in the market place by utilizing industry benchmarks to continually evaluate contract competitiveness. The Vice President establishes strategic priorities as well as those that fully utilize the capabilitiesof the Enterprise Resource System(Infor/Lawson). Assures each area has standardized best practices developed in Lawson for all operational areas. The Vice President works with Organizational Development to develop training plans for each area of responsibility.
The Vice President establishes collaborative work methods with vendors, medical staff, clinicians, facility departments and administration to achieve goals. Must be effective in development and management of quality,customer satisfaction, communication plans and performance metrics for Contracting, CQVA and Purchasing.
Minimum Education Bachelor degree required and Master's of Business Administration or related field preferred
Minimum Certification prefer at least one CPIM,CPSM,CSCP or CMRP
Minimum Experience (8) years leadership experience in supply chain or related field .Demonstrated success with large vendor contracts and vendor management of at least $300,000 in value
High energy and results driven. Must demonstrate extensive experience developing supply chain strategies across large health care systems
