Island Hospital is an integral part of the great quality of life in Anacortes, Washington and we are actively recruiting for a full time, Operating Room Implant Coordinator!
This role is responsible for the management of the operating room, implant and surgery supplies related contracts and inventory for Island Hospital. This position seeks to reduce expenditures through effective supplier negotiations, cost modeling, and leveraging volume pricing discounts. This position facilitates contract management and prepares requests for proposal or bids while following established hospital policies and procedures. The Senior OR Contract Portfolio and Implant Coordinator works to understand the needs of each surgical specialty and acts as a liaison between operating rooms staff, physicians, vendors and any other stakeholders.

10+ years’ experience in medical purchasing/materials management/surgical environment.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or a minimum of 5 years’ operating room experience.
Ability to analyze financial and technical data and possesses a solid understanding of Supply Chain Management.
CMRP certification is required after 18 months of employment.
