Job Summary
The Vice President Supply Chain will provide leadership to the supply chain function, which includes ensuring supplies and materials are procured and distributed to our hospital, physician network locations, community medical centers, and administrative support locations. The Vice President is responsible for envisioning and effectively articulating a clear, modern and effective integrated end-to-end supply chain that meets and keeps pace with patient expectations while keeping costs of operations within the established budgets and guidelines. Reporting directly to the Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President participates in the development of long-term strategies and business plans.

- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Master's Degree strongly preferred
- Minimum Years of Experience: 10+ years' progressive leadership in organizing and optimizing a supply chain system for a large hospital

Essential Functions
- Provides leadership to the supply chain organization, ensuring that all teams share a common vision in order to deliver the best clinical care for our patients.
- Leads development of the supply chain strategy and results to ensure clear understanding and alignment of the strategy and supporting programs to LMC's mission and strategy.
- Actively manages all warehouse facilities and system-wide purchasing activities.
- Leads an organization responsible for keeping inventory at various LMC locations stocked with needed medical equipment and supplies, while ensuring optimal stocking and flow of inventory throughout the system.
- Drives the supply chain team to develop creative solutions to ensure timely and efficient flow of inventory through the distribution network with a focus on proactive capacity, forecasting and planning.
- Works with leaders around the organization to anticipate potential obstacles in the supply chain and generate ideas for improving overall distribution operations and logistics processes.
- Anticipates future trends related to supply chain operations in order to ensure LMC is in a position to maximize opportunities and sustain our high level of patient care.
- Ensures that the supply chain organization uses the most appropriate tools and analytics to optimize product flow and fulfillment systems.
- Partners with administrative functions, and builds strong and deep relationships with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Information Technology.
