Under the supervision of the Director of Materials Management, this position manages the activities, staff and materials and all logistics processes including transportation from the vendors/distributors, internal distribution of supplies, management of inventory (including those booked as assets and expenses), appropriate staging of products for consumption, and product disposition. The position is responsible for the coordination of all process improvement activities across care systems and for ensuring that technology is appropriately applied to each stage of the logistics process to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness (overseeing the planning, installation, training, ongoing, monitoring, repair, preventive maintenance and upgrading of information technology).
