ECRI is seeking strategic sourcing professionals to join its 100% remote team. The Strategic Sourcing Analyst II is a client facing project manager who works with member hospitals and healthcare organizations to assess sourcing need; review existing contracts, develop and analyze Request for Proposal (RFP) documents, and provide recommendations for vendor selection. The Strategic Sourcing Analyst II also creates custom reports based on client requests, provides input and assistance on projects related to healthcare supplies and/or capital and/or purchased services. The Strategic Sourcing Analyst II works both independently and with other team members and is the primary point of contact for healthcare member clients. They are also responsible for assisting other team members and keeping their manager informed on the status of assigned projects.

This position is fully remote with an option to be virtual/hybrid. ECRI headquarters is located in Plymouth Meeting, PA.

• Lead and directs sourcing initiatives to achieve quality, outcomes, and saving goals for member hospitals.
• Facilitates the competitive bid process for member hospitals, ensuring timely supplier proposal submissions and adherence to bid protocols/procedures and deadlines.
• Develops and analyzes custom Requests for Proposal (RFP) documents for member hospitals.
• Works with member hospitals to assess needs and establish scope of work; identifies marketplace vendors, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and best practices for contracting.
• Analyzes complex price quotations and contracts from a financial perspective and provides hospitals with information and resources to facilitate price negotiations with vendors.
• Creates comparisons incorporating complex data sets expressed in a variety of formats, structures, and units of measure.
• Researches and prepares market intelligence reports and custom comparative analysis reports on specific types of supplies and purchased services requests.
• Synthesizes information from internal ECRI databases and a variety of external sources, including vendors, technical and business publications, and related websites.

Other Job Functions:

• Creates documents and reports using ECRI’s proprietary databases and MS Office software applications.
• Leads calls or webinars with Sourcing member clients.
• Demonstrates subject matter expertise on a variety of product and services topics.
• Orients and trains new Sourcing analysts when required.
• Has exceptional time management, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.
• Attends trade shows and conferences relevant to the field for professional development.
• Performs other related or unrelated duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

• 2-4 years of recent experience in customer-focused data-driven environment or other equivalent education/training.
• Experience in a healthcare facility related to strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain preferred.
• Knowledge of or experience with hospital supplies and/or capital and/or purchased service contracts and contracting processes preferred.
• Knowledge of or experience with Request for Proposal (RFP) documents and processes.
• Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities for multiple simultaneous tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
