Our hospital purchasing team performs essential duties, and is responsible for the procurement of supplies and equipment for the clinical enterprise. The Hospital Purchasing Manager supports these operations by collaborating with hospital suppliers and various departments, and by providing overall management, direction, guidance, and operation for this purchasing team of seven buyers. Job Description
To provide overall management, direction, guidance, and operation of the hospital Purchasing Department including performance, productivity, quality and leadership. To ensure purchases are made in compliance with Bid Law and institutional policies and procedures. To interact with suppliers and department ensuring service and need requirements are being met by department.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or Procurement and five (5) years of related experience required. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE. Prior leadership experience is preferred. None required.
