In this role, you will serve as an extension to Nuvance Health in their supply chain operations department. You will be a trusted advisor at Nuvance Health as a solutions oriented problem solver addressing escalating costs and boosting efficiencies while improving operational, financial, and clinical outcomes at our member hospital organizations. You will provide subject matter guidance, mentoring, and leadership to assist in transforming supply chain operations to optimal performance levels.
Support Vizient’s GPO contract on-boarding team focusing on contract alignment.
Identify contract conversion opportunities.
Analyze supply spend (including Vizient and local contracts) and perform market share analysis.
Leverage Vizient solutions including Vizient Catalog, Savings Actualyzer, and DataLYNX.
Facilitate meetings with vendors, stakeholders, and contracting team to support implementation of all savings initiatives.
Collaborate with contract service line leaders and value analysis teams to help ensure successful implementation.
Facilitate contract connections with the medical/surgical supply distributor.
Coordinate price load verification with Materials Management Information Systems and vendor partners.
Relevant degree preferred.
7 or more year's of relevant experience required.
Previous experience in health care supply chain, purchasing and/or material management role preferred.
Medical/Surgical/Health care product industry knowledge preferred.
Contract management experience and negotiation skills is highly preferred.
