Job Description: Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the item master and item vendor relationships contained in the Materials Management Information System. The database is used across the enterprise for product requisitioning, order entry, issuing purchase orders, receiving products and services, invoice verification and matching invoices for payments. Enters and maintains large volumes of information including but not limited to items, vendors, pricing, and units of measure along with other key elements associated to an items attributes. This position is integral to maintaining efficient supply chain workflow and cost containment.
